These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Superconnectors platform, website, mobile applications, events, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Superconnectors B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands with its registered office in Rotterdam (“Superconnectors”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
Platform — the Superconnectors web application at app.superconnectors.io and any associated mobile applications.
Event — a live or virtual networking event organised or facilitated by Superconnectors.
Game — the Superconnectors networking game played during Events, in which Startups pitch a Critical Ask and Superconnectors bid to make introductions.
User — any individual who registers for an account or attends an Event, including Startups, Superconnectors, Partners, and Guests.
Connection — an introduction facilitated through the Game between a Startup and a third party via a Superconnector.
2.1. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2.2. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information including your name, email address, and any other requested details.
2.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these Terms.
3.1. During Events, Startups may present a Critical Ask—a specific business need such as an introduction to investors, talent, or strategic partners. Superconnectors may place bids offering to facilitate relevant introductions.
3.2. By placing a bid or accepting a Connection, you commit to making a good-faith effort to follow through on the introduction or meeting. Failure to follow through may result in restricted access to future Events or suspension of your account.
3.3. Points, badges, and other gamification elements earned through the Platform are for engagement purposes only and carry no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or prizes.
3.4. Superconnectors reserves the right to moderate, remove, or reject any bid, pitch, or Connection that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, misleading, or contrary to the spirit of the Game.
3.5. Attendance at Events is subject to availability and approval. We may accept or decline applications at our discretion.
You agree not to:
(a) Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations; (b) Submit false, misleading, or deceptive information in your profile, pitches, or bids; (c) Harass, abuse, or harm other Users, or engage in discriminatory behaviour; (d) Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other User accounts or to any part of the Platform's infrastructure; (e) Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service without our prior written consent; (f) Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service or its content without authorisation.
5.1. The Service, including its design, software, text, graphics, logos, and all other content, is owned by or licensed to Superconnectors B.V. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (such as pitch descriptions or profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
5.3. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.
6.1. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.
6.2. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
7.1. The Service integrates with third-party platforms including but not limited to Luma (event management), HubSpot (CRM), and others as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.2. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
8.1. Participation in Superconnectors Events is currently free of charge for all Users unless otherwise stated for a specific Event.
8.2. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or Event tickets in the future. Any such changes will be communicated in advance, and your continued use of paid features will constitute acceptance of the applicable fees.
9.1. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service.
9.2. Superconnectors facilitates introductions between Users but does not guarantee the quality, outcome, or success of any Connection. We are not a party to any agreements or transactions that may result from Connections made through the Service.
9.3. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the credentials, claims, or representations of any User.
10.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Superconnectors B.V., its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
10.2. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Superconnectors B.V. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.
12.1. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
12.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice where practicable.
12.3. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) shall remain in effect.
13.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Platform.
13.2. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
14.2. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
